Gungan Ground Battle Sequence, Shot One: Lots of gungans, lined in a row.
Lots and lots of lots of gungans in a row, deflecting blaster shots from batle 'droids.
My contribution to this shot: several cycle animations of the gungans...I made four or
five cycles and they were then mixed in with several other elements by the irrepressable
Terrence 'Tman' Masson.
Initially, the idea was to use motion capture data to animate the gungans, but they didn't
react correctly or animate just on cue. So for this shot, I animated some cycles...one of which
happens to have one gungan deflecting a few shots, peer over his shield, and then dart quickly
behind as he gets pelted by a dozen shots.
